Our goal is to maintain local, organic, and accessible food security for our communities. This network is designed to support beginning farmers, low-income families, marginalized communities and aspiring farmers who may lack the resources, education and community support to cultivate their own produce.
I am a Black farmer living in Southern Oregon. I am creating this network in order to build culture and community around farming and food cultivation. I started as a cannabis farmer in 2013 then I transitioned to growing vegetables in 2019. I graduated from the Regenerative Farming Fellowship 7-month course with Rouge Farm Corps in October of 2023.
What to expect with Backyard Garden Support Network?
Regular online meetings.

Compost building classes.
Offers and needs markets.
Work parties and garden maintenance help.
Harvest share parties.
Farmers forum.
A local, organic food donation service.
and much more!
My major goal is to eliminate food deserts in urban areas by creating community systems of self-sufficient food production.
I offer garden consultations where I will examine your garden space and create an assessment of the potential of your space to maximize food production curated by regenerative, sustainable, and organic farming principals.
